>> Hi and welcome to a new video from the 30 days of Christmas serie
today I will show how to create a d.i.y. Christmas wreath
just like this one,
to give a unique touch to your Christmas.
For this project I decided to drift apart from the classic wreath
made with pine, red ribbons and Christmas balls
by creating a more modern and fun version.
Anyway if you like the classic decorations don't be mad
because during the serie I will work on some other wreaths too.
Now let's get to today's project
for which we will need:
hot glue,
a styrofoam base,
which you can find in crafts stores or online,
visit my blog to get more details,
a decorated ribbon
the one I chose has some wooden details and some pearls,
and you can buy it online,
some white wool,
a regular ribbon,
some scissors,
and some chipboard shapes and sticker letters
used for scrapbooking, which you can find online and once again I invite you to check my blog
to find the direct links.
First of all we need to cover the styrofoam base with the wool
so let's add an hot glue dot
to adhere the wool string end
and let's start wrapping it around the base
adding glue here and there to keep it in position.
During this operation make sure there are no empty spaces
between one loop and the other.
Once you covered the whole base
cut the exceeding string
and stick it on the hot glue like this.
It's time to wrap around the decorated ribbon
by sticking one end with the hot glue
and wrapping it around the base evenly
just like this.
Once you reached the end
tie the ribbon on itself
and glue it to the base
like this.
Here is the result
Now we need to adhere the glitter letters
to write Buon Natale (Merry Christmas)
Now let's adhere the chipboard snowman
and let's glue down the glitter letters
to avoid they fall down once we hand the wreath on the door.
It's time to create a hook to hang the wreath
Lets' grab the ribbon
and let's cut it at the right length
like this.
Then using the hot glue
let's adhere it on the back of the wreath
overlapping the two ends like this.
Let's cut out the exceddin bit and let's cover the ends with two pieces of ribbon
to give it a more finished look like this.
Here is our d.i.y. wreath finished
ready to be hanged at the door
I hope you liked this project
and if you'll try it out
don't forget to show me the result
by sending a picture on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram
the links are in the info box below.

That's all for today
I'll talk to you soon and don't forget to keep on following the 30 days of Christmas serie on my blog
