>> Hi giugizers and welcome to a new video
The ones of you who follow me on Instagram or Twitter
will probably know that at the beginning of January I treated myself with a quick travel to London
to start 2014 in the right way.
If you are interested in watching a recap of my three days in London
click here and you'll be teleported to the right video.
Obivously a trip to London wouldn't be complete without some shopping
especially during the sales.
In my case it turned into a vortex of compulsory shopping
before I could say Hello, Goodmorning and all that jazz.
So I thought why don't I share some of my London purchases with you?
The haul videos are among my favourite ones on Youtube,
I watch them all,
and I think they are a great inspiration to find new pieces
or to try out different styles.
So I said to myself: "Why don't I shoot one myself?"
and here I am ready to share with your my little treasure.
Before I start I want to clarify that the idea for these videos
is to not brag or show off
but simply to share as you would do with your friends
which is why I love these videos.
Ok, said that we can start!
My first stop was at Primark in Oxford Street
if you don't know it, it's a brand very similar to H&M
as they offer cool clothes at really affordable prices.
The sales experience at Primark is quite intense
people litterally *** clothes from each other's hands
This because if prices are regularly very affordable
during the sales you can make some really good deals.
Figthing with the other customers I managed to get some interesting pieces.
First of all this dress
red,
with some faux leather on the sleeves,
it's tight on the waist, but loose on the hips
and it's below the knee.
It has this texture, I don't know if you can see it,
it's matelassé
very peculiar.
I paid it 5 £
and normally you don't even get the fabric for this price
so I had to buy it.
At the same price,
which is 5£,
I also bought two cotton dresses,
a polka dots one and a striped one,
The model is more or less the same of the previous one
they are tight on the waist but loose on the hips,
but they have three-quarter sleeves.
Cotton is not really the perfect match for the season
but I thought they would be perfect for Spring and Summer
and at the price of 5£ each I had to grab them.
Then always at Primark I bought this skirt
it's flared, with some faux leather inserts
and side pockets.
It's really flattering and easy to pair
I paid it 8 £ and I said "why not?"
it's a basic piece I will sureally wear and in fact I'm wearing it a lot.
Then in the pajamas section, because at Primark you can find everything,
I bought two flanel plaid bottoms,
This kind of clothes are just perfect to wear at home in Wintertime
they are warm and cozy and the pattern is adorable
I say that because I'm totally into plaid now.
I got me two of them and if I'm not wrong I paid them 10 £ each
I liked them so much I also grabbed one for my husband
in blue, but I don't have them here to show you.
Always at Primark, while I was reaching the counters
I saw a pile of socks
two pairs costed 1£
they are super soft and cozy
so I grabbed them too.
Once I left Primark I immediately stumbled into Urban Outfitters
which is an american brand I love because you can find peculiar clothes, shoes, objects and much more.
The best moment to purchase something at Urban Outfitters is during the sales
because normally the prices are quite high
I got tempted by two pieces:
the first one are these leggins with a pieds-de-poule pattern
with turn up at the ankle
they come in a warm cozy fabric and are perfect to wear with *** sweaters
If I'm not wrong I paid them 20£ which is a really good price for Urban Outfitters.
Then I ended up in the shoes section and I fell in love with...
Tadàà, these ones.
As you can see they are loafers
with platform and huge heel
they are made of leather with these metal details
I don't know why but lately I've been obsessed with this kind of shoes.
I paid them 85£
which is quite a lot, in fact this is the most expensive piece I bought in London,
but I fell in love with them, I tried them on and they were super comfortable and I couldn't help to buy them.
If you want to know more about Urban outfitters
I invite you to check out my blog where you'll find the link to their web site
and I found out that they finally ship to Italy too
So check it out as you will surely find something you like.
Believe it or not after these 2 stores
I went to Forever 21 too.
You may have noticed that I focused only on the brands which are not distributed in Italy as it seemed the smartest thing to do.
At Forever 21 I only bought one piece,
this one,
a light weight three quarter sleeved sweater
it's beige, even if on camera it looks white
but I swear it's beige
with these black dogs silhouettes.
It's easy to pair with skirt or pants
if I'm not wrong I paid it around 10£
and it came home with me.
At the end of the day, while getting back to the hotel,
I stumbled into Topshop
and I bought one more thing
these knucle rings and you know I have a passion for knucle rings
and they are really hard to find in Italy
and at Topshop they had some sets and I got two of them
one is made of, one, two, three, four rings
and I paid it 7,50£
and the other one was made of these three rings
and I paid it 6£.
On the second day we went to Brighton
and on North Laine I found an amazing shop
which is called Collectif
If you are interested I'll put the link to their web site on my blog
It's a 40/50ies style clothes shop
and once I entered I found a paradise of flared skirts, pin up tops
vintage coats and much more.
I ended up buying three pieces:
the first one is this high waist flared skirt, which goe right below the knee
it's in plaid, my new obsession,
I love it,
I simply love it.
I paid it 49£
and I'm happy I got it.
The second piece I got at Collectif
is this top which is very pin up style even if doesn't show on camera,
it's in cotton
with short puffy sleeves
and it has these rounded white buttons on the collar.
I paid it 34£.
As last thing, always at Collectif,
I got this shirt
with white and red stripes
with three quarter sleeve
very 50ies style and I paid it 27£.
The last day I focused on shopping for beauty products
because there were some products which cannot be found in Italy
that I wanted to try
and I bought first of all two things:
by Soap & Glory
It's the Sugar Crush
a body butter,
and Scrub'em and Leave'em, which is a body scrub.
I already tested both and I love them because the body butter is
super smooth, it has an amazing texture
I don't know if you can see it on camera
it's really soft and it has a
sweet and vanilla scent which I believe it's Soap & Glory distinctive fragrance.
While the scrub
has the perfect texture, not too thin nor too rough
it's easy to apply and to rinse off
and they both make your skin super smooth.
Always by Soap & Glory I believe...
yep, Soap & Glory
I got the trick and treatment
it's an undereye concealer,
with its sponge
I heard good things about it
I tried it and I'm not really in love with it, but I was curious to test it and I got it.
Then by Clinique
I got this lower lashes mascara
which as you can see has a tiny brush
which is designed to easily apply the mascara on the thin lower lashes.
Now Revlon, I believe it's distributed in Italy, but I never managed to find it anywhere,
I don't know why.
and I bought two things:
the first one is this
some nail patches
with some glitters on, they are cute
I immediately loved them, but as you know I'm obsessed with nail polishes
and all manicure related products
so I purchased it.
and now my favourite find
which is Revlon lip butter
which is in between a lipstick, a gloss and a lip balm.
I'm wearing it now and as you can see is very subtle
so it's not intense as a lipstick
it's very hydrating
and it's perfect to wear everyday, I got it in
Berry smoothie
I got my last find, because there's still one,
at the airport
and it's Victoria secret body mist
the Bombshell.
it's a body spray, which is less intense than a perfume
This Summer I already purchased a Victoria secret body mist always at the airport,
if I'm not wrong it was peony and nectarine scented
and I loved it, so I thought I'd grab something more suitable for this season
and I picked Bombshell.
I can't describe scents
it's a more masculine scent
it reminds me of something else but I can't figure out what
Anyway if you happen to stumble into a Victoria secret store
go check the body mist counter as
they are really nice to use.
Et voilà, these were my London purchases
As you may have noticed I got into some compulsory shopping
anyway I hope you liked the video
if so don't forget to click thumbs up, to favourite, to share it
and all that jazz.
I also invite you to check my blog
where you will find the links to some of the brands I talked about in the video
all the infos are in the infobox below.
Ok, that's all for today
I wish you a nice day and I'll talk to you in my next video...ciaooo!
