My name is Andrea Petagna, I was born in Trieste and this is my fifth year at Milan
I arrived here when I was 14 and I spent four years in the dormitories at Milan but now that I am over 18 i live on my own
I am an out-and-out forward but I can play in all areas of the attack. I can play on the right or left and I even like playing out wide
I am quite good in the air and I am not bad with my feet either considering my heirght and build
I have to improve my weaker foot which is my right but of course there is a lot I can improve on
I have signed a five year contract so I am very happy. It was a very big gift from the club and it gives me a lot of confidence and I will try to pay them back with hard work and with good results
My aim is to stay with the first team for as long as possible, then if I have to go and play with the Primavera that isn't a problem. We have Inzaghi as coach so there is a lot to learn from him as well
I just want to try and improve this season and then we'll see what happens
After the match against Sassuolo at home, I think, they told me I was going on the training camp with the first team
I never expected to go on the bench but then during the pre-match meeting I was told I was going to be on the bench and I was so happy
On the coach on the way to the game I was so excited, also when we were warming up beneath the stands
I did come on for the last five minutes although I was supposed to come on earlier but the ball just wouldn't go out of play. I was waiting on the touchline for five minutes
When I did come on it was quite emotional for me
I bought cakes for everyone, which is traditional for us when it is someone's birthday, or someone scores his first goal or for a debut
When I first arrived at Milan I would never have expected to be here training with the first team after five years
It is a little overwhelming because you are sharing the changing room with lots of star players
You eat with them, you train with them, you stay 24 hours with them and it is great. It is a great experience
Here during the training camp there isn't that much to do. We either watch a match or some films but that is about it because we train twice a day
Those who want to can stay here otherwise some of the older players go home
The younger players can go to Milan to get something to eat but we have to come back here to sleep
We are always joking around. Maybe the coach will say something about us youngsters, where we have been on holiday
but at the moment we joke around with everyone here and we are not the butt of the jokes
I would like to improve my shooting and score a few more goals
