>> Hi and wecome to a new D.I.Y. video tutorial
Today I will show you how to turn some plain photo frames
in one of a kind objects perfect to decorate your house
or to offer as presents.
First of all choose some pictures you like
they can be artwork pictures, as the ones I used,
or simply family photos.
Print the pictures with your printer in the right size to fit the frames you chose
and gather some decorations to embellish your project,
just like I did.
If you wish to make it just like mine
here is what you'll need:
Three low budget photoframes,
you can find them in supermarkets or at Ikea,
I chose them measuring 10x15cm,
some patterned papers in different shades,
which you can buy online, check my blog to get some more infos,
various decorations,
buttons, beads, bows are perfect,
have fun using what you have on hands
and matches the project you are working on,
the pictures you chose printed on cardstock,
a good idea would also be to print some quotes
that get along with our project,
several scrap papers to add more details,
a butterfly punch,
glue, dimensional stickers and glue dots,
scissors, ruler
and some hot glue.
Let's start by disassembling the frame
and let's use the paper protection
as a mask to cut the background patterned paper
like this.
Now let's cut out the pictures and quotes
which we printed on cardstock
in order to have all the supplies ready.
To judge correctly the space we have available
let's place the frame on the back cover
and let's start adding the details
which we wish to use on the project.
We can now glue all the details.
Use a regular glue on cardstock
and the hot glue for the fabric
or plastic details (or every part not made of paper).
If you wish to add more dimension
you can use some dimensional stickers
like the ones I'm using.
If you own a punch
you can add some butterflies
punched from the patterned papers you chose.
To adhere them the best thing is to use glue dots
which you will place in the middle
in order to add volume to the butterfly.
if you want you can add some more decorations
like these sticker pearls I'm using
then trim off all the exceeding bits
and re-assemble the frame.
Here it is the first frame done.
Now repeat the same procedure with the other frames
choosing different pictures and decorations
so that they have a common look but they will not be the same.
Here it is our finished project!
You can customize it however you wish
using some family pictures
or some pictures you particularly like.
That's all for today
I wish you lovely day
and I'll talk to you in my next video...ciao!
