>> Hi and welcome to a new D.I.Y. video tutorial
today I will show you how to create an easy and quick thank you card,
starting with a kraft cardstock like this one.
The card dimensions are
12.5 cm (4.9 inches) and 9 cm (3.5 inches).
As first thing let's choose a patterned paper for the background,
I chose this wooden patterned one,
and we cut it to the right size.
Now we erase the pencil marks.
We can now adhere it on the kraft cardstock.
It's time to decorate the card and we start by using
this clear patterned paper
and a punch like this one
and we punch the paper.
On top we place
a circle made with this other punch.
This way we can also use all the scrap pieces
which we would have thrown away.
We glue the two pieces together.
On top of this I want to place another detail
and I'm going to cut these flowers
from this October Afternoon "Sidewalks" patterned paper.
Perfect!
This will be glued here.
I cut a tag out of a kraft cardstock
and I'll place it here below by a sentiment stamped on.
I'll be using this clear thank you stamp.
I remove the stamp from the package
and I place it on the acrylic block
Then I will use some Versamark ink
and some white embossing powder
In order to bring en relief the thank you sentiment.
I place a cardstock below to avoid spreading the powder on the whole table
then using a cloth I remove the statics from the tag
and I start stamping.
Now using the heating tool
I emboss the stamp.
To add some more details
I use this stamp
with some dotted lines
on the edges.
Once again I emboss the stamp.
I can now start assemblying the card
by glueing the different parts together.
Now as final touch
using these punches
I'll add some tiny butterflies.
Now I glue them on
placing the glue only in the center
of the butterfly to add some relief,
this way.
To finish the card I draw a stiched line with a white gel pen
in order to match better the base with the other colours I used.
As very last thing
I place some strass stickers in the middle of each butterfly.
Here is the finished thank you card
easy, quick and lovely
Well that's all for today, as usual I wish you a wonderfull day
and I'll talk to you in my next video...ciao!
